Govs & Mayors - Paris

Great news!

Despite Trump’s withdrawal of the U.S. from the Paris Agreement, the governors of 10 states (CA, MN, CT, HI, MA, NY, OR, RI, VA, and WA) have announced that they will continue to adhere to the Paris standards, thereby circumventing Trump’s terrible decision and ensuring that their states, at least, remain in the Paris Agreement.  Governor Jerry Brown even plans to meet with world leaders directly to collaborate on California’s participation:

Additionally, mayors of 187 (and counting!) cities have also announced their intentions to stay in the agreement.

Paris

Trump is going to pull the U.S. out of the Paris Agreement.  If you're reading this blog post, you probably already know how disastrous this is for the planet.  Infuriatingly, 22 senators wrote Trump a letter encouraging him to exit the Paris Agreement, despite the pleas of the major world leaders that Trump met with this past week.  Let's call out Trump and those senators on this terrible decision.  It probably won't change their actions, but publicizing this travesty is a duty of the resistance.  Public attention is crucial!

Sean Hannity

While Donald Trump is becoming further embroiled in the Russia controversy, Sean Hannity has been pushing a conspiracy theory of his own: that the DNC and/or Hillary Clinton are behind the death of former DNC staffer Seth Rich.  He refused to stop talking about it even after Fox News itself retracted those claims AND Rich's family begged Hannity to cease spreading these false rumors.

Understandably, many liberal groups are calling for an advertising boycott of his show on Fox News.

But OH that made Hannity mad!
